Community guidelines

Demand Label is for honest requests, useful evidence, and respectful participation. These guidelines apply whenever you take part.

Honest participation

Participate truthfully. Do not impersonate another person or organization, hide a material conflict, or misrepresent your relationship to a request.

Authentic requests and evidence

Make specific, good-faith requests. Do not fabricate evidence, distort what a target has said or done, or present community interest as target approval.

Harassment and threats

Do not threaten, harass, humiliate, coerce, or organize abuse against a person or group.

Illegal or dangerous activity

Do not request, encourage, or provide instructions for illegal acts, violence, dangerous conduct, or harm to uninvolved people.

Spam and manipulation

Do not post repetitive promotion, coordinate fake activity, mislead people about support, or attempt to manipulate rankings or demand totals.

Privacy and personal information

Do not expose private, confidential, or identifying information without a valid reason and permission. Never use personal information to intimidate or target someone.

Verified Demand accuracy

Complete verification honestly. Do not falsify account ownership or evidence, coordinate false amounts, or try to make Verified Demand represent interest that is not real. Verified Demand does not move money.

Reporting

Use the report control on a public request to flag a concern. Reports are recorded and visible to administrators. A report does not determine an outcome.

Moderation

Public requests may publish immediately when the creator has current bank verification or paid membership and the request and target checks pass. Other public requests wait for moderator review. Moderators can review and remove published requests that break these guidelines.
